How this was calculated
The due date is the interval the WSAVA-aligned protocol specifies after the last dose, using the same catalogue and the same 30-day due-soon threshold as the Pawz app. The tool calls the app's own status logic rather than repeating the rules, so the two cannot disagree.

My pet is a few weeks overdue. Is that serious?
It depends on the vaccine and how long it has lapsed. Some can be resumed with a single dose, others need the series restarted. Ask your vet — that call is theirs, not a calculator's.
Does an overdue rabies vaccine matter for travel?
Yes. Travel rules generally require a valid rabies vaccination and sometimes a waiting period after it. Check the requirements for your destination well before you book.

Your vet's records will have it, and so will the pet's booklet if one was issued. An approximate date gives an approximate answer, which is worth knowing but not worth relying on.
